Alpine 1st Ward's Dinner Social

Saturday evening's Dinner was great. Our ward activities committee had couples go to different homes with an assigned food.  I was assigned  Cheesy Potatoes ("Funeral Potatoes") that would serve 12. We drove to Thompson's (Activity chairs) at 6:00 p.m. and they were waiting outside. They came right to our car at the curbside and told us where we were to go for dinner.  And then the fun began.

We met at Card's and visited while we waited for 4 other couples to arrive. All brought lovely food and good moods. We talked much and ate more. The chicken Wynnette prepared was delicious. We had broccoli casserole, the cheesy potatoes, rolls with butter and jam, a salad and a strawberry dessert that was to die for. Way to go Jay Bennett!  I don't know how hard it was to set this evening of fun up but I hope it will happen again really soon.  I enjoyed getting to know everyone just a little bit better.
